Sofia Di Stefano is a degree-qualified naturopath based in Inverloch, Victoria. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) in 2013, she has been dedicated to helping patients better understand their health through evidence-informed, individualised care.
Sofia believes the most effective treatment begins with listening. She takes the time to understand each person's story, combining thorough case-taking, pathology interpretation, nutrition, herbal medicine and practical lifestyle strategies to develop treatment plans that are realistic, sustainable and tailored to the individual.
She has a particular interest in hormonal health, fertility, stress and digestive health, and enjoys supporting patients with both straightforward and complex presentations. She believes that understanding why symptoms have developed is just as important as treating them, and values taking the time to investigate the underlying contributors before developing an individualised treatment plan.
Having grown up in the Dandenong Ranges and now calling Inverloch home, Sofia has always felt a strong connection to nature. This appreciation continues to shape her philosophy of healthcare—recognising the importance of supporting the body's innate ability to heal while working alongside modern evidence and conventional medicine where appropriate.
As a mother of two young children, Sofia understands that health recommendations need to fit within the realities of everyday life. Her goal is to empower patients with clear education and practical strategies that help them feel confident in managing their health for the long term.
Sofia is a member of the Naturopaths & Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA) and is currently completing a Master of Applied Science (Acupuncture), expanding her ability to provide integrated care through both naturopathy and acupuncture.

Since graduating, Sofia has continued to up skill with the most up to date research in the field, committing to extensive additional training and mentoring from Rhiannon Hardingham in the following areas:
* Fertility, Pre-conception care and herbal medicine for the reproductive system
* Endometriosis Masterclass Series

Naturopathy is a form of healthcare that takes a holistic, individualised approach to understanding health. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, a naturopath aims to understand the factors that may be contributing to illness by considering the whole person—including their medical history, nutrition, lifestyle, stress, environment and overall wellbeing.
Your initial consultation is comprehensive and may include a detailed health history, review of existing pathology or recommendations for further investigations where appropriate. This information helps guide a personalised treatment plan that addresses the underlying contributors to your health concerns, rather than simply managing symptoms.
Treatment may include nutritional medicine, herbal medicine, dietary and lifestyle recommendations, education, and targeted nutritional supplementation where indicated. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual, recognising that no two people—or their health journeys—are exactly the same.
Naturopathy can support a wide range of health concerns, including digestive health, hormonal and reproductive health, fatigue, stress, skin conditions, autoimmunity and chronic disease management. It works alongside conventional healthcare and, where appropriate, in collaboration with your GP or other healthcare practitioners.
Above all, the goal of naturopathy is to help you better understand your health, feel empowered in your decisions, and create realistic, sustainable changes that support your long-term wellbeing.
