Naturopathy is a form of holistic medicine in which patients are treated according to their unique presentation. It involves in-depth consultation and examination of all body systems to determine the root cause of a health problem. This information may be combined with pathological tests or further investigations to provide long-term solutions.
Treatment includes education and empowerment of the patient, as well as the use of natural remedies such as herbal medicine or nutritional supplements to enhance the body's own healing mechanisms. Dietary and lifestyle interventions are also an important form of treatment. It is a form of medicine suitable for chronic health conditions such as digestive problems, skin conditions, fatigue, autoimmunity, hormonal imbalances, joint health and many more. It is the integration of traditional knowledge and contemporary research that makes naturopathy a unique and successful form of treatment for individuals. It focuses on the whole person and considers all aspects of their life, including the influence of their environment, lifestyle and emotions.
The aim of naturopathy is to restore balance and encourage the body's innate ability to heal itself. The goal of the naturopath is to leave you feeling seen, heard, empowered and confident to take your health to the next level.
